Sherbrooke, Wednesday, March 29, 2023, 6:00 p.m. – The Fête du Lac des Nations Promutuel Assurance is back, from July 18th to 23rd, 2023, at Jacques Cartier Park in Sherbrooke. The 42nd edition, or more precisely, the 40th in person, symbolizes the novelty, the arrival of a new era. The organization has some great surprises in store for its festival-goers to make sure they experience a memorable event!

The program includes musical and pyrotechnic performances, a temporary amusement park, inflatable games, activities for children and much more! Local merchants and restaurants will set up shop on the site during the 6 days of the festival to showcase their wonderful products: artisanal crafts, gourmet snacks, meals, desserts and much more. From 4:00 p.m. Tuesday to Friday, and from noon on Saturday and Sunday, the site will open its doors to all festival-goers.

Promutuel Assurance, a loyal partner of the festival, is more than happy to support the 42nd edition of the festival:

“It is with great enthusiasm that Promutuel Assurance Centre-Sud joins the organization of this event, which promises to be an experience filled with innovation and surprises this year. It will be an edition that reflects the Eastern Townships community,” said Maryse Morel, General Manager of Promutuel Insurance Centre-Sud.

The SAQ will be present, once again, for the six days of festivities and also brings its own special touch:

“Already, 22 years of partnership between the SAQ and the Fête du Lac des Nations. It is a source of pride for us! This association allows us to actively contribute to an unmissable summer event in the Eastern Townships and to make culture shine and resonate. In our constant concern to reduce the environmental footprint of our activities, reusable glasses from the Quebec company Cupko will be used, eliminating single-use containers for all our SAQ Bistros deployed in events throughout Quebec,” said Emmanuelle Roy, Assistant Director, Event Marketing, Donations and Sponsorships at the SAQ.

NEW | Bell Stage

Bell Canada is proud to be involved in a new major project. Previously a partner of the Fireworks, the company is now answering the call of music by presenting the new Bell Stage. This new addition to the Loto-Québec Main Stage and the SAQ Bistro will present, each evening at 5:00 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., shows put on by artists, songwriters, and DJs. Shows for children will be held on the same stage, starting at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday! More than twenty shows will be added to the regular program of the event.

Loto-Québec Main Stage

The Loto-Québec Main Stage will host two shows per evening of the festival, at 8:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.*, featuring renowned Quebec and international artists. Wednesday and Saturday nights will feature not two, but THREE shows on the main stage of the festival!

* Wednesday and Saturday show times vary due to additional performance.

Fireworks

The fireworks will be held every evening of the festival, starting at 10 p.m., with an exciting new concept! A great new feature will be announced in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

Family Place
