As a non-profit organization, the Fête du Lac des Nations Promutuel Assurance aims to host a large-scale event to showcase Sherbrooke and the Eastern Townships province wide. The goal is not to make a profit but to invest in the region’s cultural and tourism offerings.

The organization is proud to generate great economic benefits for the City of Sherbrooke and all its retailers, but especially to give back to the community:

  • Donation of 1 500 daily tickets in 2024 to low-income families by the Corporation de développement communautaire de Sherbrooke;
  • Bar operations managed by non-profit organizations, which receive all tips (nearly $30,000 collected in 2024) ;
  • Surrounding parking lots operated by organizations (0ver $ 40,000 raised in 2024) ;
  • Hiring of more than 475 volunteers from various backgrounds ;
  • Partnerships with local businesses ;
  • Selection of local suppliers, vendors and concessionaires ;
  • Accommodations for people with restricted mobility ;
  • Free access for children aged 11 old and under.

The FLN is a place for everyone! Various accessibility measures are in place to ensure a fantastic six-day celebration for people with reduced mobility.

  • Reserved parking spaces ;
  • Adapted shuttle services ;
  • Accessible Restrooms on site ;
  • Reserved section for wheelchair users in front of the Main Stage ;
  • Designated wheelchair section in front of the Main Stage Reserved space for people with restricted mobility in the Zone Privilège ;
  • Certified assistance dogs allowed on site ;
  • Free access to the site for accompanying persons (upon presentation of the Companion Leisure Card (CAL). Apply for your CAL card online.
