Annie Villeneuve

A native of Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, Annie Villeneuve rose to fame in 2003 during the first season of Star Académie, where she reached the finals and won the audience’s hearts. Her platinum-certified debut album, Quand je ferme les yeux, launched a career supported by a sold-out tour and collaborations with renowned artists.

Over the years, she has diversified her projects into hosting, television, and musical theater, notably in Grease and more recently We Will Rock You, inspired by Queen. Still highly sought after for her vocal dexterity, Annie Villeneuve continues to perform throughout the province. Since the beginning of her career, she has performed more than 1,000 shows, taking audiences on a journey with a vast musical repertoire that adapts to any style of event.
