Sherbrooke, Monday, July 31, 2023 – The Fête du Lac des Nations Promutuel Assurance, presented by Loto-Québec, is proud to present the results of its 42nd edition, held from July 18 to 23.
Over 160,000 festival-goers attended the 6 days of festivities, despite unpredictable weather and three artist cancellations: “We’re very pleased with the turnout for this edition, which was marked by a number of changes! The organization was able to adapt to a number of situations, and successfully rose to the challenges. We’d like to thank all our collaborators, volunteers and the 160,000 festival-goers who contributed to this edition, which will be remembered for a long time to come!” says Charles Custeau, President of the event’s administrative council.
A great team
The Fête du Lac des Nations inc. team would like to thank all the key players who contributed in one way or another to the event’s success. More than 1,500 people were involved:
- More than 450 artists, pyrotechnicians and entertainers
- More than 350 artisans, restaurateurs and promotional representatives
- Over 400 volunteers
- More than 240 field and contract employees
- Over 60 partners, collaborators and ambassadors
