FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
The 39th edition of the Fête du Lac des Nations Promutuel Assurance is postponed to July 2021! Visitors will be treated to about 30 shows of various styles, presented on three stages in Sherbrooke’s Jacques-Cartier park. The event also features les Grands feux de la Fête du Lac des Nations Promutuel Assurance, an impressive musical fireworks competition. The event also proposes many activities for the whole family including inflated children’s games, an arts and crafts section as well as the largest mobile amusement park in the Eastern Townships. Treat yourself to some family fun in the heart of the city of Sherbrooke!
Our Festival’s recycling initiative
Recycling is favoured at La Fête du Lac des Nations Promutuel Assurance. Thanks to the city of Sherbrooke’s and Festivals et Événements Verts de l’Estrie (FEVE) support, visitors will be able to contribute to our environment friendly initiative by using the many recycling and compost bins available everywhere on site. A massive ecological sweeping and sorting operation is also set-up every night on site in order to maximise the salvation of the thousands of plastic containers left on the ground.
Free bicycle parking
As an eco-friendly event, la Fête du Lac des Nations Promutuel Assurance proposes, again this year, a free bicycle parking area for our visitors. Although our volunteers offer surveillance of the sector, be sure to lock your bike in the designated area at all times, as we are not responsible for theft.
PARTIAL CLOSING OF THE LAC DES NATIONS PROMENADE AND OF THE AXE DE LA MAGOG CIRCUIT
Please note that the Lac des Nations promenade will be partially closed from July 11th to 21th 2020 and that the Axe de la Magog circuit users will be directed towards alternate passages. Also note that the southern segment of the boisé du Champs des Buttes, of the Pont Noir walk-way, of the Lac des Nations promenade and section from the Martin-Pêcheur walkway to the Pont-Noir walkway will be closed during this period.
