Groovy Aardvark

Groovy Aardvark, formed in 1986 by brothers Vincent and Danny Peake along with Stéphane Vigeant and Marc-André Thibert, is one of the pioneering bands of Quebec’s alternative rock scene. From the start, the group made its mark with captivating performances, including their legendary show at Montreal’s Spectrum. In 1994, they won four MIMI awards with their debut album Eater’s Digest, and continued to stand out with Vacuum in 1996, featuring standout tracks like Dérangeant and Le p’tit bonheur. With a career spanning over 30 years, including memorable concerts and a recent collaboration with Slam Disques, Groovy Aardvark remains an iconic name in Quebec rock.
