As a non-profit organization, the mission of the Fête du Lac des Nations Inc. is to organize a major event to promote Sherbrooke and the Eastern Townships province wide. The objective is not to make a profit, but to invest in the cultural and tourist offer of the region.
The organization is proud to generate great economic benefits for the City of Sherbrooke and all its retailers, but especially to give back to the community:
- Donation of 1 496 daily tickets in 2024 to low-income families by the Corporation de développement communautaire de Sherbrooke;
- Operation of the bars by organizations to whom all tips are given (nearly $30,000 collected in 2023);
- Surounding parking lots operated by organizations (0ver $ 40,000 raised in 2023) ;
- Hiring of more than 475 volunteers from different backgrounds;
- Partnerships with local businesses;
- Selection of local suppliers, kiosks and restaurants;
- Accommodations for people with restricted mobility.
- Free access for children 11 years old and under.

Restricted Mobility
The FLN is a place for everyone! Accessibility arrangements for the handicapped are in place to ensure six great days of festivities:
- Reserved parking spaces
- Adapted transport shuttles
- Toilets for people with restricted mobility
- Reserved section for wheelchair users in front of the Main Stage
- Reserved space for people with restricted mobility in the privilege zone
- Assistance dogs, duly identified, allowed on the site
- Free access to the site for people who assist (upon presentation of the Companion Leisure Card (CAL). Apply for your CAL card online.
