After several years of traveling the world with his music, Ian Couture has returned to his roots—country music. He released his first country album, Bon débarras, in June 2020.
Several tracks from the album have enjoyed great success on numerous radio stations across Quebec and New Brunswick, and even in Europe, reaching #1 on the Stingray Franco-Country chart, Sirius XM Franco-Country, the Canadian Top 15 on iTunes Franco-Pop, and many other charts. In 2022, Ian was nominated for Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the prestigious Country Gala of the St-Tite Festival.
