Jean-François Dubé’s voice and name have been familiar to young Quebecers for some fifteen years now. Indeed, when his debut album was released in the autumn of 2001, he had already spent almost ten years on the music scene. For the past eight years, Jean-François has been the bassist and singer of Noir Silence, a band that stands apart in the recent history of Quebec rock, and has also experienced the adulation of crowds, marathon tours and the limits of Quebec-style rock for a long time now.
